Meet Our Team
Steve Maus, MSFS, CLU®, CAP®
Steve Maus has been serving high net worth clients in the financial services profession since 1977, specializing in business succession, family wealth transfer strategies, executive benefits, and charitable giving plans.
Steve works with his clients to help them understand their current situations – looking at both strengths and weaknesses – and identify roadblocks so they can develop strategies to overcome them. As part of this process, he reviews all of the financial and legal tools and techniques available, using proprietary resources available to him and his team.
Steve’s goal is to provide each client with a well-coordinated, holistic estate plan that is thoroughly communicated to the client’s family, business associates, and other advisors –resulting in asset retention and growth, increased family harmony, and the realization of the client’s dreams.
“Over the past 40 years, I have worked with clients to help them achieve their visions. I’ve found that most high net worth people have done some financial and estate planning, but many of them still lack confidence, and therefore are not enjoying life as much as they could.”

Matt Davis
Thomas Matthew Davis, or Matt as his clients, friends, and colleagues call him, is a financial advisor with Eagle Strategies and New York Life. Matt describes his business and how he works with clients as such: “Life is a journey that we are constantly planning out. I work with both small business owners and families who spend their days working hard to provide for their families. My job is to help them create a roadmap for their financial future while building a relationship to help them navigate any financial hurdles they need to overcome. I love what I do and I love the satisfaction of seeing clients breathe a sigh of relief that they have a financial roadmap for their future.”
Matt was born in Dallas, TX but only lived there until he was one year old. It took him almost 21 years to get back! Matt grew up in Atlanta, GA and Waco, TX where he attended Baylor University. Matt worked his way through school at a stock brokerage and insurance agency in Waco. It was there he got a taste for working with clients to help them meet their financial needs. After a short detour that led to him meeting his amazing wife Julie, Matt re-entered the financial fields in 2012 and has never looked back. Since that time Matt has been a Council member^ with New York Life 5 times, with the last 4 years being consecutive. He has also been a member of MDRT* for the years of 2017, 2018, and 2019. Last year Matt was nominated and voted onto the board of the Dallas Estate Planning Council.
Matt’s biggest hope for all of his clients is that they are able to live their life to the very fullest doing the things they love to do. “If I can help a client get organized and have confidence in their financial future so they can pursue their dreams, then my hope is this will free up their precious and valuable time to live that full life.”

Matt is a voracious reader who, of course, loves novels, but finds most of his time now spent in personal development books and articles. His biggest guilty pleasure is a love of video games! Matt is also very passionate about supporting autism research and learning more about how autism affects families in the USA.
